A bakehouse that decided to travel.

GOODFELLOWS OF DUNDEE LTD has baked in Broughty Ferry since 1954. Fresh loaves and cream cakes can not survive a long journey, so we did the next best thing: we boxed the recipes.

A warm morning kitchen with an oven glow and a tray of bakes going in

The recipes that made the bakehouse's name were never really about a single shop. They were about method: the right ratio, the right resting time, the small tricks that turn a home oven into a proper bake. That knowledge travels well; the fresh goods do not.

So every Goodfellow Bakehouse kit is shelf-stable — dry pre-mixes, portioned keeping-quality extras, the right tool, and an illustrated recipe card. You add the fresh items your card lists, and your own oven does the rest. Nothing perishable is shipped, and there is no alcohol in any kit; traditional boozy recipes are reformulated alcohol-free.

The Bakers Club membership layers digital benefits on top: member pricing, a technique video library, a new recipe each month, and a recipe scaling assistant for the top tier. It is purely digital — no credits, no stored value, no monthly mystery box.
